JioSaavn Launches Music Profile, Enabling Users To Express Their Unique Music Persona

India’s leading audio streaming platform, JioSaavn has introduced Music Profile, a new feature aimed at helping listeners better understand, showcase, and engage with their music preferences. Available across Android, iOS, and Web, the feature is designed to transform everyday listening habits into a personalized and interactive music experience.

At the heart of the new offering is the concept of a ‘Music Persona’, which assigns users unique identity badges based on their listening behavior. Depending on streaming patterns, users can earn personas such as Punjabi Murid, Bollywood Bhakt, Hip Hop Hustler, Telugu Abhimani, and several others, reflecting their musical tastes and preferences.

The Music Profile feature also introduces achievement milestones based on activities such as the number of songs streamed, artists discovered, and playlists created. Leveraging listening insights and engagement patterns, the feature generates personalized summaries that highlight favorite genres, moods, songs, and artists, while offering weekly and monthly snapshots of evolving music preferences.

In addition, users can personalize their profiles by updating their current status, showcasing favorite artists, and gaining easier access to new releases from those artists within their libraries.
