Singer Jasleen Royal is all set to make history by opening for Coldplay on their much-awaited India tour. Sharing her excitement on Instagram, she posted: “Life lately. Sing, sleep, cuddle Repeat. One week to go until I see you at the Coldplay - Music of the Spheres India Tour!”
Fans have been equally thrilled, with one user commenting, “Dii apko Kanikka Kapur ki kasam, new song chahiye Vijay Deverakonda ke saath, please!” The anticipation is building up as Coldplay’s concert tour takes center stage in India.
Meanwhile, in related news, the Bombay High Court recently dismissed a petition that called for guidelines to prevent black marketing and ticket scalping for major events, including the Coldplay concert in Navi Mumbai.
The petition, filed by advocate Amit Vyas, pointed to alleged irregularities in the ticket sale process on the online platform BookMyShow. However, the court stated that issues such as these fall under the legislative domain and thus cannot be addressed by judicial intervention. Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Amit Borkar emphasized that the government has the discretion to create legislation to address such concerns, should they deem it necessary.
The court’s ruling highlighted that while the petitioner could approach the relevant authorities, it was not within the court’s purview to mandate specific legislative or executive actions.
