South Korean entertainment giant HYBE has launched 'Next New Creator', a global audition programme aimed at discovering and nurturing the next generation of music producers.
The initiative brings together several HYBE labels, including BIGHIT MUSIC, BELIFT LAB, PLEDIS Entertainment, YX LABELS, and HYBE JAPAN, as the company looks to identify emerging production talent from around the world.
The audition is open to aspiring pop music producers aged 18 and above, who are required to submit two to five original demo tracks showcasing their musical style and creative abilities. Participants will be evaluated across multiple rounds based on creativity, originality, musical identity, and their understanding of global music trends.
Successful finalists will receive a KRW 5 million prize and the opportunity to collaborate with one of HYBE's participating labels, offering a pathway into the company's global music production ecosystem.
With the launch of Next New Creator, HYBE is expanding its investment in behind-the-scenes creative talent as it continues to strengthen its global music business. The programme is designed to provide emerging producers with opportunities to develop alongside some of the industry's leading labels while contributing to future pop releases.
The initiative reflects a broader industry trend of major music companies investing in producer development alongside artist discovery, recognising the growing importance of songwriting and production talent in shaping globally successful music.
