A STARRY AFFAIR AT THE GRAND PREMIERE OF THE MUSICAL GENIUS A.R. RAHMAN'S ONE HEART - A CONCERT FILM

Rahman Concert Film was held in Mumbai at PVR, Andheri West on Thursday, 7^th Sept 2017. Seen gracing the grand occasion were renowned personalities and musicians like Imtiaz Ali, Ashutosh Gowariker, Boney Kapoor, Armaan Malik, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and many among others for the special premiere of the film. One Heart: The AR Rahman Concert Film revolves around its core theme – the magic of his music, the creative process, his band and his musical journey as he tours across 14 locations in North America. Commenting on the occasion, A.R Rahman said “One Heart Music Foundation, is an initiative to help musicians who have given their life, passion, and soul for music, and give respect to the work done by them. The whole journey of One Heart has been a rare and ecstatic experience for me. It has helped me to grow further as a performer. It is the love and support of people across the globe that motivated me to work hard and experiment.” It’s a one-of-a-kind film that showcases how the musical maestro goes about planning his concert tour and celebrates music with his fans and music lovers. The 90-minutes film features his 15 most-loved and popular songs, punctuated by a series of his in-depth interviews and some unseen personal clips. The film also marks the 25 years celebration of AR Rahman’s musical career and the global proceeds of the film will be donated to the One Heart Music Foundation. The film will play in cinemas nationwide from the 8^th of September 2017. In his capacity as the Ambassador of the One Heart Music Foundation, the musical genius A.R. Rahman is spearheading this effort, to bring the fraternity together and to raise funds for the foundation. AR Rahman’s efforts are being supported by the Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA). Members of the Indian music fraternity have joined hands to support the One Heart Music Foundation - a foundation that caters to the needs of the less-privileged sections of the industry.
