FlixBus India has brought back its YouTube-first cultural IP Window Seat, doubling down on music, storytelling, and community-driven experiences. The second season will roll out six episodes through 2026, opening with Chandigarh-based artist Simran Choudhary, known for tracks like Aayi Nai and Lut Le Gaya. The debut episode features a three-song set, including two unreleased tracks.
Positioned as a “stage on wheels,” Window Seat transforms a moving bus into an intimate gig space, where artists perform live for a small group of fans. As the journey progresses, local musicians join in at various stops, turning each ride into a travelling music experience rooted in regional culture.
Season 2 expands its musical canvas, spotlighting a diverse mix of genres, from folk and Hindustani traditions in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab to Kumaoni and Garhwali sounds from Uttarakhand, alongside emerging voices from Malayalam and Telugu indie scenes. The season also places a special focus on ghazal and Urdu performances.
The lineup includes artists such as Haniya Nafisa, Priyanka Meher, Divyam, Khwaab, Damini Bhatla, and Rahgir.
For FlixBus India, the IP reflects a strategic shift from conventional advertising to cultural participation. With operations across 300+ cities, the brand is positioning itself as more than a mobility provider, leveraging original content to engage audiences and support emerging artists.
Nikhil Kant, India Team Lead – Marketing & Sales at FlixBus India, said the initiative is about building culturally rooted storytelling rather than traditional advertising, creating deeper recall through lived experiences. Managing Director Surya Khurana added that Window Seat integrates music and local narratives into the travel journey, helping the brand connect more meaningfully with passengers at scale.
Sharing her experience, Simran Choudhary described performing on a moving stage as “intimate and authentic,” noting that the format allows artists to reconnect with music in its rawest, most organic form.
With Window Seat Season 2, FlixBus India is betting on content-led brand building, blending travel, music, and storytelling to create a unique, community-first cultural platform.
