Ayodhya, the temple city of India, is adorned in anticipation of the highly awaited consecration ceremony for the Ram Mandir and the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram Lalla idol. Crafted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, the idol will find its place inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ayodhya temple.
In this majestic ceremony, military helicopters are set to shower flowers on the temple city, while a group of 30 artists will play various Indian musical instruments during the Aarti, as per the Temple Authorities. Guests participating in the Aarti will be handed bells to ring during the ritual.
The grand event will feature 30 musicians harmonizing their performances with different musical instruments. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to partake in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla within the newly constructed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Representatives from diverse religious and spiritual sects across the nation are expected to attend this historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony. People from various societal segments, including representatives from different tribal communities, will also play a role in the proceedings. Following the idol's consecration, Prime Minister Modi will address the distinguished gathering.
Adhering to Shastriya protocols, the consecration ceremony is scheduled for the Abhijeet Muhurta on Monday afternoon (Jan 22). Typically involving Seven Adhivasas, at least three Adhivasas will be observed. The rituals will be conducted by 12 Acharyas, with Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid overseeing, coordinating, and directing the proceedings, while Lakshmikant Dixit of Kashi acts as the principal Acharya.
In addition to Prime Minister Modi, attendees at the consecration ceremony will include Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other dignitaries.
