Talking about technical aspects and this new genre of 2½D animation Sunil speaks with a confident smile that “I always intend to create innovative ideas of story-telling. This time it so happened that I decided to utilize the skills of my theatre group actors to create this animation film, the basic challenge was to make them look and behave like animated characters and with the help of constantly growing technology, A. I & improvising through creative body language workshop we were able to accomplish & pioneer this unconventional way of making and animation feature film. Thanks to my background in theatre. We were able to create a 2D Graphic novel look with moving images while the story-telling treatment remained in 3D as we shot with live actors with special makeup & costumes to match our intended expectations & then in the whole process we created a new genre of 2½D animation movie wherein the look is 2D but the treatment is 3D & that’s how 2 ½D” The film is set to hit cinemas this year soon, following OTT & satellite release.
