Prateek Kuhad has released “Blush,” the first single from his upcoming studio album Full Moon Chamber, which is slated for a worldwide release on July 10 via Atlantic Records.
The release is accompanied by an official music video, marking the beginning of Kuhad’s next musical chapter following his 2022 album The Way That Lovers Do.
Built around a softly driven guitar riff, “Blush” captures the emotional rush of new romance and infatuation. Speaking about the track, Kuhad said, “It’s that heady feeling of infatuation that comes with meeting somebody and falling for them hard.”
The upcoming album, Kuhad’s third studio project, was created between New York and Los Angeles and explores themes of love, identity, uncertainty, and personal transformation. According to the singer-songwriter, the album reflects a deeply transitional period in his life and career.
“I went through a lot of uncertainty for a couple of years. The music industry changed. A lot changed for me personally as well. But through it all, I ended up finding a part of myself that I had lost. The album follows that arc,” Kuhad shared.
The project was shaped alongside Los Angeles-based producer Nick Ruth, known for his work with artists including Kelly Clarkson, Bakar, and Lauren Spencer Smith. Ruth helped bring together recordings made with multiple collaborators into a cohesive sonic direction for the album.
Full Moon Chamber is currently available for pre-order ahead of its July 10 release.
