Ziro Festival Of Music 2026 To Feature 40+ Indian And International Artists In Arunachal Pradesh

The 13th edition of Ziro Festival of Music is set to take place from September 24 to 27 in Arunachal Pradesh’s Ziro Valley, bringing together more than 40 artists from India and across the world. The four-day festival will spotlight musicians from the Northeast alongside national and international performers.
The 2026 lineup features Indian names including Sukhbir, Sneha Khanwalkar, Midival Punditz, Shakthisree Gopalan, Shanka Tribe and Parikrama, while artists from the Northeast include Sukesh Suklabadya, Chingleipak Collective, Yelhomie, Tribal Rain, Temsu Clover, Mood Station, Novo and David Angu.
The festival will also feature artists such as Shikriwal, Kaali Duniya, Karan Kanchan and Swara Oza, along with classical musicians Sarwar Hussain and Apoorv Krishna.
On the international front, the lineup includes Yohani from Sri Lanka, Fati Teniri from Algeria, Palestinian-French producer Isam Elias, Phosphenes from Nepal, GYMV from Thailand, Talahib from the Philippines and South Korean act Moher.
This year, Ziro Festival will introduce ‘Cosmos’, a new informal space designed for spontaneous jams, artist interactions and unscripted performances. The festival will also host the concluding chapter of ‘Circuit Mixers’, an international electronic music exchange supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
The festival is further expanding its international cultural exchanges through a residency featuring Irish folk band Saltaire, supported by Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland in New Delhi. The programme will bring musicians together for workshops and collaborations with local artists.
Beyond music, the festival will showcase the cultural heritage of the Apatani community, with activities including the traditional Daminda harvest dance, a presentation by the Apatani Women’s Association Ziro and workshops on traditional crafts such as paddy flute making and pottery.
According to Ziro Festival co-founder and director Bobby Hano, discovery and cross-cultural exchange remain central to the festival’s vision, with the 2026 edition continuing its focus on bringing diverse musical communities together.
