New Year, New Series: Candlelight® Launches 2026 Mumbai Season At Four Seasons

Candlelight® by Live Your City has announced the launch of its 2026 Mumbai season with a curated line-up of three concerts, set to take place at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai this January. Marking the first Candlelight® series of the new year in the city, the programme promises an intimate live music experience defined by the brand’s signature candlelit setting.

The opening slate features three distinct themes: a tribute to the timeless compositions of R.D. Burman, a spiritually immersive Mehfil-e-Sufi concert, and a symphonic homage to the music of A.R. Rahman. Each performance is designed to reinterpret familiar melodies through acoustic arrangements and live instrumentation, enhanced by the visual ambience of thousands of candles.

According to the organisers, the 2026 Mumbai season represents a significant expansion of Candlelight®’s presence in the city. The series aims to transform some of Mumbai’s most striking architectural and heritage spaces into performance venues, blending live music with immersive visual and spatial design. The upcoming calendar will focus on creating experiences that combine musical excellence with carefully curated settings, offering audiences a departure from conventional concert formats.

The Mumbai launch concerts are scheduled for January 11 at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, with each performance running for approximately 60 minutes.

The evening will open with Candlelight: Tribute to R.D. Burman at 5 pm, featuring sarangi player Vanraj Shastri, keyboardist Aviral Agarwal and tabla player Rishabh Malik. Tickets for the concert are priced from Rs 1,199 onwards.

This will be followed by Candlelight: Mehfil-e-Sufi at 7 pm. The performance will feature an Indian classical ensemble, with artist details to be announced. Tickets are available from Rs 1,199 onwards.

The night will conclude with Candlelight: Tribute to A.R. Rahman at 9 pm, featuring Avadhoot Phadke on flute, Rupak Dhamankar on tabla and Tushar Lall on keyboard. Tickets for this concert start at Rs 1,499.

With its 2026 season, Candlelight® continues to position itself as a platform for immersive, curated live music experiences, bringing together iconic repertoires, skilled musicians and atmospheric venues to create distinctive cultural offerings in Mumbai.
