Kumar Sanu And Shannon K Perform At Royal Albert Hall Following Successful North America Tour

Veteran playback singer Kumar Sanu and singer-songwriter Shannon K recently took the stage at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall for a Symphony Orchestra Concert, marking another milestone in their ongoing international musical journey.

The performance came on the heels of the successful Unforgettable ’90s LIVE USA and Canada Tour 2026, which saw Kumar Sanu, Shannon K and singer Sadhana Sargam perform across major cities in North America.

Organised by Rock On Music, the Royal Albert Hall concert brought together classic Bollywood melodies and orchestral arrangements, offering audiences a unique blend of Indian film music and Western symphonic traditions.

Prior to the London performance, the artists toured extensively across the United States and Canada, with stops including New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, San Diego, Toronto and Winnipeg. The tour was promoted by Shri Balaji Entertainment under the leadership of Rocky Kaushal and Darshan Mehta.

While Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam revisited some of Bollywood's most beloved songs from the 1990s, Shannon K introduced a contemporary element by incorporating English renditions and modern interpretations, creating a bridge between generations of listeners.

Reflecting on the tour and the Royal Albert Hall concert, Shannon K said performing alongside Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam had been a special experience.

“I had the opportunity to perform alongside two iconic singers, my father Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Ma’am, and being part of the USA tour again this year was incredibly special,” she said.

Shannon K added that the growing rediscovery of '90s Bollywood music through social media and streaming platforms inspired her to reinterpret the era's songs for younger audiences.

“As younger audiences continue to rediscover ’90s Bollywood through reels, remixes and streaming platforms, I've loved reimagining this music through a modern pop lens, connecting the magic of the ’90s with my generation and showing that great music never belongs to just one era,” she said.

The tour and London concert underscored the continued global appeal of Hindi film music, bringing together nostalgia, contemporary influences and cross-cultural collaboration on international stages.
