A musical tribute celebrating the legacy of Indian cinema and music legends Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle and Dharmendra was held in New Delhi as part of Mausiqui Edition 4, organised by Manndakini Productions.
Hosted at the Shri Sathya Sai Auditorium, the event brought together prominent figures from the worlds of entertainment, music, media, law and social service for an evening dedicated to India's rich musical heritage.
The programme featured performances of iconic Bollywood songs associated with the celebrated careers of Mangeshkar, Bhosle and Dharmendra, creating a nostalgic atmosphere for attendees. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause and standing ovations as artists paid homage to the legendary trio through a series of heartfelt renditions.
Among those present were Supreme Court Judge J.K. Maheshwari, noted lyricist Sameer Anjaan and actor-singer and Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari.
Adding a social impact element to the event, organisers distributed sewing machines to underprivileged women to support self-employment and sustainable livelihoods. The initiative reflected the community-focused ethos that has become a key feature of the Mausiqui series.
Opening the evening, Manndakini Bora welcomed guests and outlined the vision behind the event, highlighting its aim of preserving the golden era of Indian music and cinema while introducing younger audiences to the country's artistic heritage.
The celebration concluded with a musical journey through timeless classics, honouring the enduring contributions of three of India's most beloved cultural icons.
