Legendary singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is embracing a bold new chapter: his first tour and album as an independent artist.
Adams has announced the ‘Roll with the Punches’ North American Tour 2025, a 40-date arena run marking his debut under his own label, Bad Records, launched in August 2024. The new album, set to release in August 2025, will be his first fully self-managed, self-released project.
“Everything seems a lot simpler,” Adams told People magazine. “When you're completely responsible, there’s a unity I love. It’s all very new and exciting.”
From album artwork to ticketing and promotion, Adams is hands-on—he even visited a record plant for the first time in his career to watch his vinyl being pressed. “It feels like starting over. In some ways, I feel like I’ve been let out of school,” he shared.
The Grammy winner says going independent has brought him more freedom and creative control, especially in the remote mixing process with his band. “Having a bit more time is a good thing.”
The title Roll with the Punches reflects his resilient outlook: “If you get knocked down, you get back up and start over. It’s about keeping on, no matter the obstacle.”
