Ahead of its theatrical release on November 28, the much-anticipated musical romance Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L Rai and starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, celebrated its grand album launch at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House.
The event, hosted by Amazon Music India in association with T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, brought together some of the biggest names in Indian cinema and music, including A.R. Rahman, Bhushan Kumar, Aanand L Rai, and the film’s lead pair. The evening featured a live musical showcase by Rahman and the Sunshine Orchestra, unveiling all nine tracks from the album.
From the soulful title track featuring Shilpa Rao, to energetic numbers like “UPSC” with Sukhwinder Singh, and Rahman’s own moving rendition of “Deewana,” each performance reflected the film’s themes of love, longing, and emotional intensity.
“Our journey began with Raanjhanaa, continued with Atrangi Re, and now reaches Tere Ishk Mein,” said A.R. Rahman, adding that the new album “connects the soul of these stories while reinventing itself each time.”
Director Aanand L Rai described the film as “a story that comes straight from the heart,” while producer Bhushan Kumar praised Rahman’s compositions as “music that speaks straight to the heart.”
Kriti Sanon called the project “a passionate, deeply musical experience,” adding that working with Rai and Dhanush was “a beautiful journey.”
Rishabh Gupta, Country Head of Amazon Music India, said the collaboration “beautifully captures the essence of love and music,” expressing excitement for listeners to experience the album on the platform.
Produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow Productions, Tere Ishk Mein features music by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The film, written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, will release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 28, 2025.
