MBW Inks Global Partnership Deal With Rolling Stone
Founded in 1967 by Jann Wenner and Ralph J. Gleason, Rolling Stone has defined pop culture for generations of readers as one of the most iconic brands in publishing and music. Today, five decades later, Rolling Stone has evolved into a multi-platform content brand with unrivalled access and authority, reaching over 60 million people per month. In December 2017 Rolling Stone joined PMC, and this year the legendary brand relaunched with a revamped print magazine and website, modernized to showcase its commitment to quality journalism across music, entertainment and politics We all know Rolling Stone as one of the leading pop culture magazine that highlighted many great (and controversial) stars over a long long time. Their recent history of acquisition made it's rounds in the news media too. T Since then many changes have been made to sustain Rolling Stone, the last has been it's content partnership with Music Business Worldwide (MBW).

Music Business Worldwide

Music Business Worldwide was founded in 2015 by Tim Ingham. Since then, the London-based company that remains fully independent – has become an agenda-setting force in the global music industry, delivering breaking news and influential insight to top-level professionals around the world. Tim is a well-known music industry commentator and was previously editor of British trade paper Music Week for four years. He has written about the music industry for the likes of The Guardian, The Independent, The Observer, The Daily Mail and NME.

Rolling Stone X MBW

MBW and Rolling Stone have struck a wide-ranging and ongoing content sharing deal, effective immediately. This includes a weekly industry-focused column written by MBW Founder and Publisher, Tim Ingham, which will appear first on Rolling Stone’s website and in its monthly magazine. Ingham will delve into the biggest issues in today’s music industry, contextualizing how they’re affecting artists, audiences and executives alike. Meanwhile, news and feature content from Rolling Stone and premier entertainment news publication Variety, a fellow PMC publication, will be regularly shared on the Music Business Worldwide platform.
Music Business Worldwide is delighted to announce this alliance. Rolling Stone is a peerless brand with an amazing history, reputation and reach. Its website and print magazine are going through an exciting resurgence at the hands of smart people. This is an important step forward for MBW, and we are honoured to play a role in the modern evolution of Rolling Stone. - Tim Ingham
