Vishal Mishra Reveals The Story Behind 'Tabaahi' As Song Crosses 150 Million Views

The song Tabaahi from the upcoming film Toxic has crossed 150 million views across social media platforms, continuing its strong run ahead of the film's theatrical release.

Featuring a blend of romantic rock, the track has gained traction for its intense visuals, powerful vocals by Vishal Mishra, and its unconventional portrayal of love.

Speaking about the song, Mishra said Tabaahi was envisioned as a love song that expresses passion in a raw and primal manner, which he believes has resonated with audiences.

The singer-composer also spoke about his collaboration with Rocking Star Yash, describing the actor as "like a brother." Mishra revealed that the song was composed after its visuals had already been filmed.

According to him, the team initially shot the sequence without music before he and Yash worked together to create the track. He likened the process to composing a background score for a six-minute scene, which eventually evolved into a full-fledged song.

Mishra also recorded Tabaahi in all five languages of Toxic,Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam,adding that the track has been trending in several countries worldwide.

Tabaahi is available on Zee Music Company's official YouTube channel, while Toxic is scheduled to release in theatres on August 26, 2026.
