The Shakti Collective Launches TSC Academy To Nurture The Next Generation Of Artists

As India’s independent music ecosystem continues to expand, The Shakti Collective has launched TSC Academy, its learning vertical aimed at providing artists with structured mentorship, industry expertise and practical education to help build sustainable careers.

Built around its philosophy of “Unfolding Artist Force,” The Shakti Collective believes the challenge for artists is not a lack of talent, but limited access to meaningful mentorship, structured learning and professional opportunities.

TSC Academy has been designed to bridge the gap between free online tutorials and traditional music education through mentor-led programmes that combine recorded lessons, live interactions, assignments, assessments, community learning and continuous guidance.

At the centre of the Academy is The Complete Artist Foundation Program, a six-month learning experience featuring three specialised tracks led by industry practitioners with more than 100 years of collective experience.

The heART of Music Composition, led by composer Sandesh Shandilya, focuses on the creative process behind composition and helps artists develop their own musical voice.

The Roots of Hindustani Classical Music, led by vocalist Pandit Prasad Khaparde, senior-most disciple of Padma Bhushan Ustad Rashid Khan, provides learners with a foundation in Hindustani classical music and its traditions.

The third track, A-Z of Music Production for Singer-Songwriters, is led by composer, producer and arranger Luca Petracca. The programme focuses on practical production techniques and aims to equip artists to create professional-quality music using accessible tools, including a laptop.

Beyond education, The Shakti Collective is building an integrated artist ecosystem through three pillars: TSC Academy | Learn, The Artist Path | Accelerate, and TSC Artists | Partner.

While TSC Academy focuses on professional education, The Artist Path serves as a hands-on accelerator where selected artists work on real projects, develop original music and refine their artistic identity. TSC Artists, meanwhile, is a selective partnership platform focused on music creation, releases, audience development and long-term career growth.
