Shannon K Makes History At Coachella 2025 With Fiery Debut Performance

Shannon K, daughter of iconic Bollywood playback singer Kumar Sanu, set the Coachella 2025 stage ablaze with her electrifying performance. Making history as the first indie artist of Indian origin to represent India at the globally renowned music festival, Shannon wowed a crowd of over 120,000 music lovers at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Following in the footsteps of trailblazers like Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon, Shannon brought her unique indie-pop flavor to the festival. A short clip from her set has since gone viral on social media, capturing her high-octane performance and commanding stage presence, earning praise from fans for her undeniable confidence and charisma.

Ahead of her performance, Shannon shared her excitement:“It’s on the bucket list of every Indian-origin indie artist trying to break boundaries and be heard.
