Ravi Kishan’s Viral ‘Money Follows My Brother’ Catchphrase Gets A T-Series Music Video

Actor-politician Ravi Kishan is turning one of his biggest internet moments into a music release, with his viral catchphrase “Money Follows My Brother” now being transformed into an official track by T-Series.

The song is set to release on September 11, with T-Series unveiling a glimpse of the accompanying music video on Tuesday. The track is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and features rapper Mellow D and Shamsher Singh Sadhu.

The teaser opens with a mother asking her son about his plans for the future, following which Ravi Kishan’s voiceover delivers another of his now-recognisable lines. The camera then turns to Kishan, who begins with the phrase “Naam ya daam?” before responding with the viral “Money follows my brother.”

The catchphrase originated during Kishan’s appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast on June 22. When asked whether he preferred fame or money, Kishan chose fame and added the now-viral phrase. The clip subsequently became a popular meme across social media, with users recreating and remixing his delivery and expressions.

Kishan has increasingly embraced his unexpected Gen Z popularity, with his dialogues, expressions and dance clips becoming a source of viral content. He previously acknowledged the role of Gen Z in his renewed online popularity, thanking the generation for giving him “name and fame.”

The actor was most recently seen in Mirzapur: The Movie, which released on September 4, where he played Baban Yadav.
