MTV Hustle Season 5 Announces Rs 1 Crore Winner Prize, Biggest In Show's History

MTV's hip-hop reality franchise Hustle is set to return with its fifth season, raising the stakes with the biggest winner prize in the show's history. The Season 5 champion will take home Rs 1 crore, marking a significant milestone for the franchise as it continues to champion India's growing hip-hop movement.

Built around the theme 'Apna Homeground', the new season celebrates the people, places, and experiences that shape every artist's journey. Contestants from across India will bring their unique stories, sounds, and identities to the stage, competing for the show's highest-ever prize while showcasing the diversity and richness of the country's evolving rap culture.

Since its debut, Hustle has emerged as a key platform for discovering and nurturing hip-hop talent, helping independent artists gain national recognition and bringing authentic voices into the mainstream. The introduction of the Rs 1 crore prize reflects both the scale the franchise has achieved over the years and its continued commitment to supporting the next generation of rap artists.

Speaking about the upcoming season, rapper Badshah said, "Hustle has always been about discovering artists with something real to say. Joining Badshah this season are EPR as the OG Squad Boss, alongside MC Square, Paradox, and Agsy, who return as Squad Bosses after first gaining recognition as contestants on the Hustle stage. Together, they will mentor aspiring rappers competing for the coveted title.

Hustle Season 5 premieres on August 8 and will air on MTV while streaming on JioHotstar every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm.
