Loudest.in launches Inaugural ‘Loudest 40 Under 40’ To Celebrate Young Leaders Shaping India’s Music Economy

Loudest.in has launched the inaugural edition of Loudest 40 Under 40, an initiative dedicated to recognising the young professionals, innovators and business leaders driving the growth of India’s rapidly evolving music economy. The initiative is being presented in association with exchange4media and IWMBuzz.

At a time when India’s music industry is expanding rapidly across streaming, live entertainment, publishing, artist management, licensing, technology, marketing and the creator economy, Loudest 40 Under 40 seeks to honour individuals under the age of 40 who are making a meaningful impact on the future of the business.

The inaugural edition will be evaluated by an eminent jury comprising some of the most respected names from the worlds of music, media, branding and intellectual property.
The confirmed jury includes Dr Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld and exchange4media; Devraj Sanyal, Chairman & CEO, India and South Asia, and SVP Strategy, Africa, Middle East and South Asia, Universal Music Group; Blaise Fernandes, President & CEO, IFPI India; Mandar Thakur, CEO, Times Music; Sujal Parekh, Chief Business Officer, Zee Music Company; Rakesh Nigam, CEO, Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS); Rajeev Raja, Founder, BrandMusiq; music director Shamir Tandon; Meghna Markhand Dave, Associate Director, Artist Strategy & Development, Sony Music India; singer-composer Shibani Kashyap; Hamza Kazi, Head of Artist Relations & Development, The Hello Group India; Lloyd Mathias, former Marketing Head at PepsiCo, Motorola and HP; and Ruhail Amin, Senior Editor, exchange4media and BW Businessworld.
More jury members are expected to join the panel in the coming weeks.

The initiative has been conceived to spotlight both the visible and behind-the-scenes talent powering India’s music business, from executives and entrepreneurs to creators, strategists and ecosystem builders. It seeks to recognise those helping build a more sustainable, innovative and globally competitive music industry.

The jury process will be conducted virtually, with deliberations scheduled for June. The final list will identify 40 exceptional young leaders whose work is influencing the future direction of India’s music ecosystem.

With its debut edition, Loudest 40 Under 40 aims to establish itself as a credible benchmark for recognising leadership, innovation, creativity and business impact across the music economy, celebrating the next generation of professionals shaping one of India’s fastest-growing creative industries.
