JioSaavn has announced the winners of the second edition of the India Superhits Awards, celebrating the most streamed songs and artists that shaped India’s listening habits over the past year. Determined entirely by streaming and engagement data on the platform between January 1 and December 31, 2025, the awards reflect listener choice across languages, regions and creative roles.
The India Superhits Awards recognise music across 10 languages,Hindi, English, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Marathi. For each language, honours are presented in five key categories: Most Streamed Song, Most Streamed Female Artist, Most Streamed Male Artist, Most Streamed Lyricist and Most Streamed Composer, spotlighting both performers and the creative forces behind the music.

This year’s data highlights clear listening trends. Hindi film music continued to dominate national consumption, with Saiyaara emerging as one of the most streamed tracks of the year. Artists such as Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal maintained strong, consistent engagement, while composer Tanishk Bagchi and lyricist Irshad Kamil topped their respective categories,underscoring the enduring influence of film-led music.
Shreya Ghoshal, who won Most Streamed Female Artist in both Hindi and Bengali, said, “Winning JioSaavn’s India Superhits Awards is very special. These awards show how much India and my fans love me.”
Tanishk Bagchi, winner of Most Streamed Composer in Hindi, added, “These awards genuinely show what India is listening to today.”

Regional music continued to build strong momentum, with Bhojpuri and Marathi tracks such as Dilwa Le Ja Rumal Me and Shaky enjoying high repeat listens. Artists including Pawan Singh, Shilpi Raj and Sanju Rathod demonstrated deep cultural resonance, while southern music showed strong cross-regional appeal. Composers like Jakes Bejoy and vocalists such as Sid Sriram ranked among the most streamed across listener cohorts, reinforcing their growing national footprint. Bengali music also recorded sustained engagement, led by Anupam Roy.
