In a groundbreaking achievement for the artistic community of Jammu and Kashmir, Jaan Nissar Lone has emerged as a pioneer, clinching the title of the first artist from the region to receive the prestigious Golden Visa from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government.

Lone's illustrious career has been adorned with numerous accolades, including the KL Sehgal National Award, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, and an honorary doctorate from the Eurasian University of Moscow. Globally lauded for his contributions to peace, he has been appointed as an Ambassador of Peace by both the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and the UK-based NGO World Humanitarian Drive (WHD).

Beyond his significant presence in Bollywood as a director, singer, and producer, Lone has played a pivotal role in elevating the essence of Kashmiri Mystic Music onto the international platform. Through his AR Music Studios Record Label, also known as ARMS Record Label, he continues to propagate global music by forging collaborations with artists of diverse origins.

Among his notable creations is the soulful composition "Dilbaro - Portrait of Love," filmed against the enchanting backdrop of Yerevan, Armenia. Furthermore, his masterpiece "Harmukh Bartal" prominently featured in the acclaimed Indian web series "The Family Man," starring the esteemed actor Manoj Bajpai.

Lone's musical prowess has also left an indelible imprint on the silver screen, with tracks like "Rubaru" from the popular film "Ginny Weds Sunny," featuring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Messy.
