Exclusive: Chandresh P Madhwani Steps Down From BookMyShow’s BMS Live & TribeVibe After 17-year stint

After an over 17-year-long journey, Chandresh P has announced his decision to move on from his role at BookMyShow’s BMS Live and TribeVibe Entertainment, marking the end of a significant chapter in India’s live entertainment and ticketing ecosystem.

In a heartfelt note shared on LinkedIn, Chandresh reflected on his journey that began in October 2009, recalling his early interview with Kumar Razdan and how that moment evolved into a long-standing professional legacy. He described his tenure as one filled with “cherished memories” and a deep sense of pride.

He credited the company’s founders,Ashish, Parikshit, and Rajesh,for their visionary leadership and for fostering an environment that enabled long-term growth. “You have built an institution that defines the industry, and I am proud to have been a part of that story,” he noted.

Chandresh highlighted his role in the company’s evolution,from its early days operating out of a single workstation to scaling operations, including setting up offices in Bengaluru housing over 100 workstations. He also pointed to his transition from ticketing to live events production as a pivotal phase that shaped his career.

Acknowledging key mentors, he extended special thanks to Anil Makhija, whom he described as the “Yudhishthira of the organization” for his integrity and guidance, and to Shoven Shah for mentorship during the building of TribeVibe.

He also expressed gratitude to colleagues across teams for their collaboration and shared successes over the years.

“While I am moving on to a new chapter, the spirit of BookMyShow and the lessons learned here will stay with me indefinitely,” he said, without disclosing details of his next move.

Chandresh’s exit comes at a time when India’s live entertainment sector continues to expand rapidly, with platforms like BookMyShow and its live division playing a key role in shaping the country’s concert and events landscape.
