Khushboo Wadhwani, globally known by her stage name DJ Kiara, has announced the launch of Key2Paradise, a contemporary music and culture project that explores sound as a gateway to emotion, connection and collective experience.
Rooted in ambient house and house music, the project blends Indian and Western musical influences to create immersive environments where audiences are encouraged to experience music beyond listening. According to the artist, Key2Paradise is designed to evoke emotional resonance and shared energy through sound-led storytelling.
The initiative brings together original compositions, live performances and carefully curated settings, positioning the project at the intersection of culture, spirituality and modern electronic music. Key2Paradise is an initiative by Kiara Music, developed in collaboration with live entertainment curation company Plan My Show (ONN Media LLP).
The launch marks the beginning of a new phase in DJ Kiara’s creative journey, with Key2Paradise envisioned not as a single show or album, but as an evolving platform focused on deeper audience engagement and experiential music formats.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the project, Wadhwani said her early experiences behind the decks shaped her creative direction. “Walking away from my very first DJ set, I felt a high I had never known, the ability to shift energy and move a room emotionally. That feeling stayed with me and ultimately led to Key2Paradise, which is built on creating immersive moments that people truly feel,” she said.
DJ Kiara’s career has been marked by several milestones. In 2024, she served as the official DJ for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, became the first Indian woman DJ to perform at Dubai’s Museum of the Future, and the first female DJ to perform at the world’s largest cricket stadium. An open-format artist with over 500 live performances to her credit, she is also the only female artist from Gujarat to have achieved this milestone.
Her musical journey is rooted in formal training in Indian classical music, Kathak dance and visual arts, which laid the foundation for her understanding of rhythm and expression. This background, combined with her later immersion in house music and EDM during college, informed her evolution as a DJ and ultimately led to the creation of Key2Paradise.
With Key2Paradise, DJ Kiara aims to push the boundaries of live electronic music experiences, positioning sound as a medium for emotional depth and collective connection.
