boAt has unveiled its new 'Approved By' campaign for the recently launched Airdopes ProClip, using celebrity-led digital films featuring Sonam Bajwa and Ambrish Verma to address consumer perceptions around open-ear audio technology.
The campaign comes as the open-ear audio category gains traction globally, while many Indian consumers continue to question whether such earbuds offer a secure fit and maintain private listening despite their open design. Through two digital films, boAt seeks to answer these concerns using relatable, real-life scenarios.
The first film stars actor Sonam Bajwa, who puts the Airdopes ProClip through a series of energetic dance moves, rapid movements and signature hair flips to test its secure fit. The challenge concludes with Bajwa endorsing the earbuds' stability, remarking, "Mainu lagda si main ziddi aan, par eh taan mere ton vi zyada ziddi nikle."
The second film features actor and content creator Ambrish Verma on a busy film set, where he tests the earbuds' private listening capabilities. Despite playing audio at full volume in a crowded environment, Verma discovers the listening experience remains private while allowing him to stay aware of conversations and activity around him.
Through the campaign, boAt aims to demonstrate how open-ear audio can offer a balance of comfort, privacy and situational awareness for everyday users.
Commenting on the initiative, a boAt spokesperson said, "With open-ear audio still an emerging category in India, consumers naturally have questions around fit, comfort and privacy. The 'Approved By' campaign was created to answer these questions through real-life situations that make the category easier to understand and experience."
The campaign is now live across boAt's digital and social media platforms.
Designed for India's on-the-go consumers, the Airdopes ProClip features an open-ear design with a secure fit, Sonic Seal technology to minimise audio leakage, and ambient awareness capabilities that allow users to remain connected to their surroundings. The earbuds are available in Champagne White, Grey and Wine colour options at an introductory price of ?1,599 through boAt's official website and leading e-commerce platforms.
