Apple Increases Apple Music Subscription Prices In India: Here's The New Pricing

Apple has increased the prices of its Apple Music and Apple One subscription plans in India, marking the first price revision for the music streaming service in the country since 2022. The updated pricing is now live on Apple's platforms and comes as part of a broader global increase across several markets.

Under the revised pricing, the Apple Music Individual plan now costs Rs 139 per month, up from Rs 119, while the Student plan has increased from Rs 59 to Rs 69 per month. The Family plan has seen the biggest jump, rising from Rs 179 to Rs 229 per month.

Apple has also revised the pricing of its Apple One bundles. The Individual plan now costs Rs 195 per month, up from Rs 175, while the Family plan has increased from Rs 295 to Rs 345 per month. The changes are already reflected on Apple's official website.

The price hike follows Apple's recent increase in AppleCare+ subscription charges for Macs and iPads in India and aligns with similar pricing changes introduced in the US, UK and several other international markets.

Globally, Apple has attributed the increase in Apple Music subscription prices to rising licensing costs, stating that the higher pricing will help support continued investment in music and ensure artists and rights holders are fairly compensated.
