Megastar Amitabh Bachchan returns as the host of India’s biggest quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), with Season 18 premiering on August 10 on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. Marking the new season, the channel has unveiled a rap anthem around the theme ‘Sochna Padega’, featuring Bachchan in a striking new pop-culture avatar.
In the music video, Bachchan steps away from his familiar on-screen persona to embrace a swagger-filled rap aesthetic. Dressed in a white fur coat, oversized dark sunglasses, layered gold chains and a geometric hoodie, the veteran actor appears in illuminated corridors before taking his place on a chandelier-lit throne.
Blending his iconic baritone with a contemporary beat, Bachchan delivers the anthem’s central message: “Yeh KBC hai, yahan sochna padega pyaro...”
The campaign has been conceptualised around the idea of applied intelligence, highlighting that while information and facts are readily accessible today, the ability to think critically and apply knowledge remains the key to making the right decisions.
Through Sochna Padega, KBC aims to encourage viewers to trust their knowledge, think on their feet and recognise opportunities.
