Ajay Bijli has entered a new creative chapter with ‘On Another Note…’, a three-song EP marking his debut as an independent music artist. Distributed by Warner Music India, the project brings together Bijli’s vocals, music by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Shellee.
Built around three universal emotions, hope, gratitude and celebration, the EP features three distinct musical expressions. ‘Rab Rakhda’ explores hope and faith, ‘Shukriya’ is an intimate expression of gratitude, while ‘Dil Kare Haye Haye’ captures joy and spontaneity.
For Bijli, music has been a deeply personal part of his life for decades. With ‘On Another Note…’, he brings that passion to audiences for the first time, presenting an instinctive body of work created without chasing trends, but with a focus on emotion and music’s ability to connect people.
“Music has always given me much needed respite from my daily life,a deep sense of peace and joy. With my debut EP ‘On Another Note’, I wanted to create something honest and heartfelt, not driven by trends but by emotion,” said Ajay Bijli. He added that the three songs reflect different parts of his personal journey and expressed gratitude to Trivedi, Shellee and Warner Music India for supporting the project.
Amit Trivedi said working with Bijli on the EP was a special experience, highlighting his distinctive relationship with music and passion for the project. “We have created these songs with a lot of love, without really worrying about what’s trending. Each song carries a different emotion, but together they tell a very human story,” he said.
‘On Another Note…’ featuring ‘Rab Rakhda’, ‘Shukriya’ and ‘Dil Kare Haye Haye’ releases on August 18, 2026, across major music streaming platforms, distributed by Warner Music India.
