Sharjah To Host Biggest 90s-Inspired Vintage Festival With Music And Movies

Sharjah is gearing up to host one of its largest 1990s-inspired pop culture festivals, bringing nostalgia, music, movies, food and games together in a full-scale celebration of the decade. The event, titled The 90s by RBO, will take place at Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park from February 12 to March 1, 2026, offering visitors a vibrant throwback to one of pop culture’s most iconic eras.

The festival’s immersive experience aims to transport attendees straight into the sights and sounds of the 90s, with themed zones filled with VHS tapes, flip phones, vintage gaming consoles and Sega and PlayStation classics. There will also be an open-air cinema screening beloved films and TV shows from the decade, alongside a ‘Memory Wall’ where guests can reconnect with nostalgic moments from their childhood.

Music will play a central role throughout the event, with chart-topping hits, boy band favorites and familiar tracks that defined 90s playlists setting the tone across the grounds. The festival is designed to evoke the togetherness and shared cultural memories that the era inspired.

Complementing the entertainment are 90s-themed food offerings, including diner-style burgers, milkshakes and other comfort bites that add a flavourful nostalgic twist to the experience.
