Candlelight® by Live Your City is set to return to Bengaluru this June, bringing its signature blend of live music and immersive ambience to the city. Hosted at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road on June 20, the event promises an intimate evening illuminated by thousands of candles, offering audiences a unique way to experience some of India's most beloved music.
Known for transforming iconic venues into atmospheric concert spaces, Candlelight® continues to attract music lovers with performances that place live music at the heart of the experience. This edition will feature tributes to legendary singers Asha Bhosle and Mohammed Rafi, alongside a dedicated celebration of the music of A.R. Rahman.
The tribute to Asha Bhosle and Mohammed Rafi revisits timeless songs that have soundtracked generations of listeners, while the A.R. Rahman performance will showcase compositions that continue to resonate with audiences across India and beyond. Presented through live instrumental arrangements, the concerts offer a fresh interpretation of some of the country's most cherished musical works.
Performances will be delivered by an Indian classical ensemble comprising Abhishek M.B. on flute, Sharan Rao on keyboard and Sumukh R on percussion.
Set against the backdrop of Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, the candlelit concerts add another distinctive cultural experience to the city's entertainment calendar. Combining nostalgia, live performance and an immersive setting, the evening aims to bring audiences together through music that has stood the test of time.
