Hyderabad is gearing up for a spectacular night as A.R. Rahman returns to perform live on November 8 at Ramoji Film City, in a grand concert presented by Hyderabad Talkies. Known for his boundary-pushing soundscapes and immersive performances, Rahman promises an experience that celebrates both nostalgia and innovation.
Reflecting on the live music revival, Rahman says, “People turn up in thousands because they value that human connection. Despite AI’s rise in music, that emotional exchange will always keep it alive.”
The maestro also opened up about mentoring his son Aamin Rahman, sharing, “He used to take feedback personally, but now he’s grown into it and people are really loving him.”
Calling the event a milestone, Sainath Goud Malkapuram, Founder of Hyderabad Talkies, says, “After hosting legends like M.M. Keeravani, this concert marks another step toward our vision of bringing world-class musical experiences to the city.”
With deep-rooted ties to Hyderabad through his Telugu film work, Rahman teases special performances and remixed classics like Roja in Atmos. “Music is global , it’s the emotion that truly connects,” he adds.
As anticipation builds, Hyderabad prepares for a night where Rahman’s timeless melodies meet next-generation sound.
