NH7 Weekender Line-Up: Steve Vai Headlines Meghalaya

It’s 2017, the Indie Giant Only Much Louder’s annual NH7 Weekender is upon us. The locations this time around are only in two places, Meghalaya and Pune. It’s the eighth edition of Bacardi’s NH7 Weekender festival. NH7 Weekender is known for bringing India’s biggest music bands, as well as some hottest International Acts, have them perform under one roof, making it a musical live wire.

Being performed only in two cities this time around and they’re performing a month apart. This only means more breathing room for the organizers, a lot more artists, tighter performances with little room for mistakes. We may also see a surprise introduction for the line up in Pune. Get Psyched!

The quality of any music festival is known for its line up of artists and NH7 is always pushing the bar for bigger and better artists at affordable prices. In comparison to last year where there were two express editions other than the main stage in Pune; Shillong and Hyderabad, this year they have clearly decided to focus on quality, revenue, and management. We await the news on express editions of this year.

The official line up for the most anticipated music festival in India is finally out. The sheer number of artists performing in Pune and Meghalaya is nothing short of staggering.

There are 35 artists performing in Meghalaya having the legendary Steve Vai headlining the act and a whopping 43 artists in Pune. With these many artists and EDM acts are yet to be announced. The NH7 Weekender really promises to be a musical live wire. Some other key international attractions can be spotted on the poster below!!

The NH7 Weekender festival is taking place in Meghalaya on 27-28 of October and in Pune of 7-8 of December. The venues for each place are yet to be announced. Same as last year, the OML will also launch Express Editions which are basically a day long editions, mini-festivals so the cities can have a taste of what it is to be part of the weekender experience.

“The Express Editions of the festival will spread across 8 cities this year with two festivals, so it will be across 10 cities in total.” -  Said Vijay Nair,  Founder, OML in a statement with Rolling Stone.
