On Monday, Samsung launched the Music Frame in India, inspired by the principles of The Frame smart TV by the South Korean brand. As the name suggests, the Samsung Music Frame is a wireless speaker designed to resemble a traditional photo frame but functions as a standalone speaker or soundbar. When not in use, it can also display photos.
The Samsung Music Frame features Dolby Atmos 2.0 channels and can be controlled via built-in voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant.
The Music Frame is equipped with SpaceFit Sound Pro, which analyzes the acoustics of the room and adjusts the sound output accordingly.
Delivering 120W sound output, the Samsung Music Frame is accessible through Bluetooth, Chromecast, AirPlay 2, Bixby, remote control, and Wi-Fi, and it works with both iOS and Android devices.
It is compatible with Q-Symphony for TV pairing as a soundbar and can be customized through Samsung’s SmartThings app for equalizer settings.
The plug-and-play soundbar does not have built-in battery support.
The Samsung Music Frame is available on Samsung’s website, Amazon, and select offline stores for ?23,990. “The new Music Frame epitomizes exceptional technology in the form of a picture frame with its unique, elegant design while delivering a cinematic audio experience,” said Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Visual Display Business, Samsung India.
