Loudest Discovery | Spryk

In case you were unaware of the terrific world of Spryk until now, today is your lucky day.

MAN. Start by watching the AV teaser he shared for a sick new project in August 2017. Its amalgamation of bass-heavy electronic beats with sick futuristic monochromatic visuals leaves you feeling like you’re being pulled into a vortex of tech and art. The one minute video had me wondering what it would be like to experience this live and the only answer is: Insane.

Cheggit. [embed]https://youtu.be/1mGYJWgWgGQ[/embed] Spryk aka Tejas Nair and Big Fat aka Aniruddh Mehta are the brains, eyes and ears behind this mind- bending new form of experiencing music. As can be seen in the teaser, their first ever AV show -- aptly titled “Strange Movements” -- features some next-level audio visual sets. If you have a thing for Techno, or are just starting to explore the genre, Spryk’s many rhythms will just set the tone for your day. His music ranges from chill to crazy drops which make you want to jump no matter where you are. He also packs some seriously interesting glitchy parts which sound ultra-fresh. If bass heavy isn’t your thing, I suggest listening to FRESH -- some real neat percussion beats with super smooth jazzy vibes. The set starts off with such beautiful melodies and transitions into soul blaring dub step and pounding bass. This crazy mix just shows how versatile he is as an artist and doesn’t limit himself to specific sounds and genres. Can’t. Stop. Dancing. ‘Retro-Future’

Exploring Spryk’s Slow/Fast EP is a journey with rhythm and pace. ‘Rustle’ is the perfect blend of upbeat electronica with such chill vibes. ‘’Spryk is crafting a whole new sound we're calling "Retro-Future" by melding art-bass, heady electronica, and upbeat 90's trip hop vibes with a sprinkling of jazz undertones for good measure,'’ is what his label High Chai Recordings, New York has to say about his Slow/Fast EP which was released last year. https://soundcloud.com/iamspryk/rustle-1?in=iamspryk/sets/spryk-slowfast Spryk’s particular focus on beats, footwork and eclectic electronic beats just hits home (and the heart) MORE OF THISSS PLEASE! ‘Beyond | Within’

December 2016 marked the beginning of the much talked about Spryk & Tesselate Studio’s Virtual Reality Audio Visual experience, showcased at Magnetic Fields Festival, Alsisar, Rajasthan. “The idea behind Beyond Within is to simulate the feeling of being in Space and the journey starts right here from a place on Earth and takes you into other dimensions,” said Tejas Nair in an interview with Gizmodo India. What’s even more interesting is the orchestral music which is poles apart from his bass heavy electronica. "Obviously, the music wouldn't work the same way because space has a very interesting reaction to sound. It doesn't have moving air, it is vacuum. It is our representation of what it could sound like out there," Tejas said. We’ve always wondered about the Cosmos and the sheer vastness and awe of it. What better way to experience it than this? Spryk and Tesselate Studios plan on taking Above and Beyond to the next level as they work on a more enriched and immersive experience. “Exploration is in our nature. We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.” ? Carl Sagan, Cosmos
