Samsung Announces New Music Studio Speakers Featuring High-Resolution Audio Before CES 2026

Samsung has unveiled its latest range of home audio products, including new soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers, ahead of their official showcase at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The new lineup will be presented at the global technology event taking place from January 6 to January 9, marking Samsung’s push toward more immersive, design-forward home audio experiences.

Samsung expands Music Studio speaker lineup

Samsung is expanding its Music Studio series with two new Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 7 (LS70H) and Music Studio 5 (LS50H). Designed around a “timeless dot concept” inspired by art and music, the speakers were created in collaboration with renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec and are aimed at blending seamlessly into modern living spaces.

According to Samsung, the speakers feature Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology to minimise signal overlap and improve directional clarity, while AI Dynamic Bass Control helps manage low frequencies with reduced distortion. The Music Studio 7 supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz and can be used as a standalone speaker or paired for stereo or surround sound setups.

The more compact Music Studio 5 adopts a gallery-style design and includes a four-inch woofer and dual tweeters for balanced sound output. It also supports AI Dynamic Bass Control, Wi-Fi casting, voice assistants, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Major upgrades arrive for Q-Series soundbars

Leading Samsung’s refreshed Q-Series soundbars is the flagship HW-Q990H, featuring an 11.1.4-channel configuration that includes a 7.0.2 main soundbar, 4.0.2 rear speakers, and a dual eight-inch driver subwoofer. New additions include Sound Elevation, which positions dialogue more naturally at screen level, and Auto Volume to maintain consistent audio levels across different content.

Samsung claims the system delivers a cinematic experience comparable to professional home theatre setups, with up-firing channels and AI-powered tuning expanding the soundstage for enhanced immersion.

For users seeking a more compact solution, the HW-QS90H all-in-one soundbar offers a 7.1.2-channel setup with 13 drivers and a Quad Bass Woofer system. Its Convertible Fit design, supported by a built-in gyro sensor, automatically adapts audio performance based on whether the soundbar is wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop, eliminating the need for an external subwoofer.

Q-Symphony ecosystem gets smarter

Samsung is also upgrading its Q-Symphony ecosystem, which enables synchronised playback across TVs, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers. Starting in 2026, users will be able to connect up to five devices simultaneously, with automatic channel allocation based on room layout and speaker positioning. Control and management will be handled through the SmartThings app, offering centralised access to playback, device grouping, and streaming services.

Additionally, Samsung confirmed that its previously announced Sound Tower models, the ST50F and ST40F, will continue to be part of its broader audio portfolio, catering to outdoor and party-focused listening experiences.

With these announcements, Samsung is positioning its 2026 audio lineup around immersive sound, intelligent tuning, and design-led integration, setting the stage for a strong showing at CES next month.
