Yazad Anklesaria Joins Saregama India As Vice President – AI Transformation

Yazad Anklesaria has taken on a new role as Vice President – AI Transformation at Saregama India Ltd., where he will lead the organisation’s AI transformation agenda.

Anklesaria announced the appointment on LinkedIn, stating that his new mandate will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to drive efficiency, innovation and new opportunities across Saregama’s business.

“In this role, I will be leading the organisation’s AI transformation agenda, with a focus on leveraging AI to drive efficiency, innovation and new opportunities across the business,” Anklesaria said.

In his new role, Anklesaria will focus on identifying and implementing AI-led opportunities across the organisation, as the media and entertainment industry continues to explore applications of emerging technologies across content, operations and consumer engagement.

Prior to taking on the AI transformation mandate, Anklesaria served as General Manager – IT & Technology at Saregama, where he was involved in driving the company’s technology and IT strategy. Before joining Saregama, he served as Director of Engineering at OnMobile Global Ltd.

With over two decades of experience spanning technology, telecom, media and content, Anklesaria brings a technology-focused background to his new leadership role at Saregama.

His appointment comes as music and entertainment companies increasingly look at AI not only as a technology tool but also as a potential driver of operational efficiency, innovation and new business opportunities.
