The Hello Group India Signs Abhijit Vaghani For Exclusive Global Management

The Hello Group India (THG India), a joint venture between Sony Music India and The Hello Group, has signed music producer and composer Abhijit Vaghani to an exclusive global management deal.

A graduate of SAE London in Sound Engineering, Vaghani has amassed over 7.6 billion streams across his body of work and spent more than a decade contributing to some of Bollywood’s most commercially successful soundtracks and music projects.

His credits span films including Dishoom, Airlift, Ra.One, Bang Bang!, Gunday, Kaabil, Hindi Medium and Golmaal Again. His track “Duniyaa” from Luka Chuppi alone has crossed 600 million streams.

Beyond film music, Vaghani has also emerged as a prominent creative force behind the T-Series Mixtape franchise, along with music-led properties such as SaReGaMa Magic Moments Music Studio and Showcase Made in India. He is widely recognised for reimagining familiar songs through contemporary arrangements and collaborative formats.

As part of the partnership, THG India will work on expanding Vaghani’s global live presence, developing original intellectual properties, and building music experiences that reflect both his artistic versatility and his understanding of how Indian music culture resonates internationally.

Speaking on the association, Abhijit Vaghani said, “For me, music has always been about emotion and connection. Some of the most fulfilling experiences in my journey have come from taking songs people already love and helping them experience those emotions in a new way. Whether it's through live arrangements, reinterpretations, film music or original concepts, I've always enjoyed building ideas that bring people together through music.”

He added, “What excites me about this partnership with THG India is the intent behind it. There's a genuine understanding of where I want to go creatively, not just as a producer or composer, but as someone who wants to build new music experiences, live formats and original IPs that can connect with audiences globally while still feeling rooted in who we are musically.”

Taylor Jones, CEO and Global Head of Creative at The Hello Group, said, “Abhijit has had a real impact on the way modern Indian audiences engage with music. Whether through film soundtracks, reinterpretation formats or collaborative music properties, his work has consistently connected across generations.”

“He has a very clear creative identity and a strong instinct for how music culture continues to evolve. We're excited to help him take that vision global,” Jones added.

With the signing of Abhijit Vaghani, THG India continues to strengthen its vision of developing globally scalable South Asian creative talent across music, live entertainment, and original intellectual property.
