Rimjhim Roy Joins Ogilvy As Vice President – Strategy

Global advertising agency Ogilvy has appointed Rimjhim Roy as Vice President – Strategy, strengthening its strategic leadership capabilities across key global and regional portfolios.

In her new role, Roy will lead strategy for the Coke Nutrition portfolio while also driving strategic initiatives for the creative hub of bp. Her appointment comes as brands increasingly focus on integrated and insight-led communication strategies across markets.

Roy brings close to a decade of experience in brand planning and strategic leadership across the Asia-Pacific region, with expertise spanning healthcare, technology, FMCG, and fashion sectors.

Prior to joining Ogilvy, she was associated with Edelman, where she held a dual role as Lead Healthcare Planner for APAC and Lead Planner for Edelman Malaysia. During her tenure, she worked on strategic campaigns for leading healthcare brands including Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Novartis, and Novo Nordisk, supporting multiple product launches across the region.

Her portfolio also includes earned and integrated campaigns for global brands such as Starbucks, Unilever, Diageo, and Tencent Games, along with brand relaunches for Tune Talk and Amgen.

Earlier in her career, Roy worked with 82.5 Communications and DDB Mudra Group, contributing to award-winning campaigns including Bisleri’s “Samajhdar Bisleri Peete Hain” and the “We Are Challengers” campaign for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and RC Whisky.

Roy graduated with academic honours in advertising strategy from MICA Ahmedabad in 2017.
