PDL Launches LyricMatic To Simplify Lyric Video And Music Visual Creation

Phonographic Digital Limited (PDL) has launched LyricMatic, a DIY platform aimed at simplifying the creation of lyric videos and visual music assets for labels and music creators.

The platform brings audio, lyrics, visuals and customisation tools into a single workflow, enabling users to create lyric videos and album artwork using just their song audio. Users can upload a track or enter its ISRC code to fetch music from PDL’s COSMOS platform.

LyricMatic also addresses lyric synchronisation, with PDL’s in-house team offering support in creating time-stamped lyric files (SRTs) where lyrics are unavailable.

The platform allows users to create theme-based visuals or upload their own, while customisation options include overlays, effects, lyric placement, fonts and visual styles. Its integrated Subtitle Editor enables users to edit lyrics and fine-tune synchronisation before generating the final video.

Users can also automatically generate album art, allowing multiple visual assets to be created from a single music release.
