Ishan Krishan And Shirley Setia Release New Single ‘Tera Banke Rehna’

Singer-songwriter Ishan Krishan, known for his breakout release Kol Mere, has teamed up with singer and performer Shirley Setia for their new single, Tera Banke Rehna, released today. Produced and composed by Vaibhav Pani, the song explores love, longing and the emotional weight of choosing someone despite knowing that the relationship may not have a lasting future.

At its core, Tera Banke Rehna captures the idea of loving someone so deeply that following them becomes more important than belonging to oneself. The line, “Jidhar jaaye tu, us raste te main rehna,” reflects the song’s central sentiment of unwavering devotion.

The track brings together male and female perspectives, unfolding as an intimate musical conversation between two people in love. While their emotions mirror each other, the story takes a bittersweet turn as circumstances prevent them from being together. The song ultimately explores how love can continue to exist even after a relationship comes to an end.

For Mumbai-based singer Ishan Krishan, who has roots in Chandigarh, Tera Banke Rehna marks another step in his growing independent music journey. His previous release, Kol Mere, crossed 2 million streams, generated more than 30,000 Instagram Reels and appeared on Spotify’s Viral charts in India and Pakistan.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Ishan Krishan said, “The last year has been really special for me. Shirley Setia Brings a Second Perspective

Shirley Setia joins Ishan on the track, bringing her experience as an independent and Bollywood artist. Having first gained recognition as an internet singing sensation, Setia has since built an international audience through her music and performances.

Her catalogue includes songs such as Disco Disco, Tu Mil Gaya, Jab Koi Baat and the popular Punjabi single Koi Vi Nahi. Her collaboration with Ishan adds a complementary female perspective to the song's narrative.

Producer and composer Vaibhav Pani adds another dimension to Tera Banke Rehna. With credits spanning Bollywood, pop and independent music, Pani has worked across more than 170 tracks and over 35 films and OTT series.

His credits include Saiyaara, Metro… In Dino, War 2, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, 12th Fail, Vedaa and Deva. He has also collaborated with artists and composers including Pritam, Amit Trivedi, Amaal Mallik, Vishal Mishra, Armaan Malik and Raftaar.

Known for combining electronic production with melodic songwriting, live instrumentation and Indian musical influences, Pani creates a warm and intimate sonic setting for the two singers.
