Canadian Instrumental Prog Band INTERVALS is coming to India!

Canadian Instrumental Prog Band INTERVALS is coming to India!
Yesterday, the entire Bacardi NH7 Weekender Lineup made it to the public after a long-awaited time! Out of the many artists that were announced, Canadian Instrumental Progressive group 'INTERVALS' were announced for Meghalaya and people lost their minds! There have been many rumors for years that Intervals will come down to play a tour in India and this announcement made it really hopeful. Nothing was further added though. But last night, Aaron Marshall (Guitar Player/Founder/Composer) of Intervals posted about the Weekender and told fans to "look out for further club dates." Today, the management company Bohemian Live in collaboration with Atonal Music Agency announced a string of shows the band is going to be playing across the country! Here's all you need to know:

WHO ARE INTERVALS?

For those of you who do not know yet, Intervals was one of the first bands to come out and do the whole Instrumental Progressive Metal thing that was based more on melodies and guitars (compared to other counterparts such as TesseracT and Periphery and their aggressive sounds inspired by Meshuggah) that would go on to influence the plethora of Instrumental Metal/Rock bands that would base their sounds around the guitar for e.g. CHON, Polyphia etc. The band went through various line-up changes in their initial years, released an album with vocals as well, only to come back to their forte and create a unique sound spearheaded by the guitar playing of Aaron Marshall. The last two albums 'The Way Forward' and 'The Shape Of Color' are a collection of intricately prepared melodic pieces that please the soul all the way through. Further, their live show is certainly something to witness! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAUKePuL4dQ

A FOUR SHOW EXTRAVAGANZA!

Their India tour will see them play a total of four dates including the Bacardi NH7 Weekender Meghalaya show, including Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore between October 30th and November 3rd. Check out the tour poster for further information: With more and more Progressive acts coming into the country and having successful tours, it's safe to say that this one will be big as well, and its something you shouldn't miss out on!
