The Bootcamp Goa has announced the return of its electronic music production and performance residency with Season 5, set to take place from March 9–21, 2026 in Morjim, Goa. The 14-day residential programme is designed for DJs, producers, live performers and visual artists seeking to elevate their craft through immersive mentorship and advanced training.
The initiative is backed by 3IS Education, the France-based institution known for its excellence in filmmaking, sound, and video game education. This season, the platform sharpens its focus on long-term artistic development, emphasising depth over volume and quality over quantity.
35+ Mentors From India and Abroad
Season 5 will bring together more than 35 mentors from India and overseas, including Anyasa, Gaurav Raina of Midival Punditz, Ma Faiza, Komorebi, Hybrid Protokol, and founder Rummy Sharma, among others.
The programme continues to collaborate with international cultural and educational platforms while introducing a more structured roadmap for career planning, music releases, outreach and global positioning. Participants are also connected to international opportunities, including platforms associated with Berlin’s renowned Rave The Planet parade.
A Career-Shaping Residency
Founder Rummy Sharma described mentorship as the cornerstone of the initiative. “Mentorship is at the heart of the camp. Having spent decades teaching and performing internationally, I believe originality and a strong artistic identity are what help artists stand out globally,” he said.
The curriculum has been refined to prioritise advanced production, sound design and forward-thinking performance formats, particularly live, hybrid and DAWless sets. Participants can choose from beginner, intermediate or advanced modules across DJing, Ableton music production, DAWless performance, sound synthesis, turntablism and VJing with audio-reactive visuals.
Advanced Week expands into hybrid performance (up to 45 hours), scoring for film and OTT, music business strategy, community building, DIY MIDI controller building and live sound management.
A key highlight remains the one-on-one mentorship module, where artists work closely with experienced mentors to complete a track or refine a live set to performance-ready standards. Masterclasses also cover production philosophy, songwriting, branding, visibility and sustainable career building.
Applications Open
With limited seats remaining and early bird phases already sold out, final passes start at INR 29,000 (excluding stay and meals). Applications are currently open, with shortlisted candidates undergoing an interview process before confirmation.
Positioned as more than a workshop, The Bootcamp Goa Season 5 aims to function as a launchpad for emerging electronic artists navigating the creative and professional realities of the global music ecosystem.
