A&M STUDIO wraps up its 15 day non– stop World Music Carnival with a bang!
1st July 2020, Mumbai: The World Music Carnival is A&M Studio’s celebration of music and art, where we get over 70 talented and versatile artists and musicians to present their music to the world for 15 days, culminating to the celebration of the World Music Day. The music represented all genres: Hindustani Classical, Rajasthani Folk, Gazals, Sufi, Qawali, Bengali, Carnatic, English, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Punjabi, Bollywood – contemporary / retro / classics and also showcased.

On the occasion of the completion of this amazing concert, Manpreet Singh Kochar, Founder and CEO of A&M Studio said, “This very amazing journey had some extremely and highly talented artists from all over the world. It was a pleasure to welcome new talent of astounding calibre from across the world into the A&M Studio fold. This concert has been an eye opener for everyone as to how much of untapped talent is present all over. We are delighted to get them together under our umbrella .I also want to thank all the partners for their steadfast and wholehearted support all through.”  Commenting on the A&M Studio, World Music Carnival, Dr. Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor -in-Chief of the Businessworld & Exchange4Media group said, “ It’s commendable to organise a concert of this duration and with this calibre of artists. It’s a great feeling to have partnered with a brand that promotes incredible talent in such a selfless way.”  The first half of the Journey started from Hindustani Classical Music on the 11th June, till the 8th Day today with Sufi Genre, covering Retro & Contemporary Bollywood from both India Based & Dubai based artists to Rajasthani Folk Music & Rajasthani Folk Dances, Ghazals, Bengali, Carnatic, Tamil, Telegu & Kannada mixed with some amazing instrumental performances of Tabla Vadan jointly presented with Harmonies of Harmonium and Sitar. And a very special feature of Violin session on the day & Genre of Hindustani Classical Music.  The second half of the festival covered the genres of Punjabi / Qawali /All music in tribute to World Music Day / International Music / Bollywood Classics & Retro from all USA based artists / Bollywood Contemporary & Retro & Ghazals by all Canada based artists and lastly the final day with Independent & Original Music. Highlights of  Punjabi : Nishtha Kukreti , Anwar Ali, Mitika Kanwar, Simran Bhardwaj & the 2 Extremely versatile and Rocking and highly talented musicians Alaap Sikander & Sarang Sikander. (Sons of Shri Sirdool Sikander - A Legendary Singer of Punjab).  Qawali : Gufran Nizami, The Youngest Female child prodigy at 15yrs Khanak Joshi, Zeeshan Nizami and his Nizami Brothers of India’s got talent fame. Followed by their eldest Nizami uncle - Yosouf Khan Nizami. All enthralled the audiences with all languages and genres of Qawalis.  21st June - World Music Day : The day started with Live music starting itself by 10am and going uptil 12.30am midnight with non-stop music from these various artists. KV Singh, Shipra Sarkar, Sri Vivaan Iyer, Namrata Das, Anushree Kamath, Paulami Mazumdar, Ashwin Giri, Rishabh Giri, Nishad Khamboljia, Amrita Talukder, Shrey Sagar, Tanvir Hussain, Shahzad Ali, Famil Khan from Dubai, Abhishek Anil Sharma & Finale presented that night yet again by Alaap & Sarang Sikander. And midway there was a fabulous display of a highly energetic & entertaining dance performance displayed by Dancer & Choreographer Meenal Verma. And another highlight of the day was of Mr. Gaurav Sharma – Chief Programming officer for Fever FM / fever entertainment / Radio 1 & Radio Nasha also coming live on the A&M Studio’s Facebook page and wishing all the artists a Very Happy World Music Day and also singing a few of his iconic Kishore Kumar songs.  International Music : Pallak Ranka, Mellissa Dessa, Pranali Chheda ( Global Head CSR and Strategic Alliances) & Bhrigu Parashar & yet another Heavy Metal & Rock instrumental act by Alaap & Sarang Sikander towards the last 3 hours in the midnight. Vidit Tanwar’s instrumental act on the guitar was a sight to be seen to be believed.  Bollywood Classics & Retro : Abhijit Mazumdar, Amrita Saha, Vidya Dave, Kaushal Sampat, Avni Singh, Suresh Ramachandran, Pallavi Verma Belwariar, Parwaz Ekram, Gafoor Khan, Azim Khan, Asif Siddiqi, Manmeet Kaur( Country ahead - USA for A&M Studio’s USA Operations). And final act by Aisha & Zeeshan.  Canada Based Artists : Mansi Pandya, Disha Patel, Kanav Malhotra, Jay Salunki, Himaani Bee, The Forever Rocking Shantanu Banerjee Raina Sen and then Glory Guliani (A&M Studio Country Head – Canada, Singer & Performer) followed the finale act by Gunjan Shukla & Jayant Shukla with their forever popular old Hindi film industry’s Classics and many popular Ghazals.  The Final day. A very new found singer from Kolkata with a very unique voice texture and highly trained singer Saswati Talukder, Hanita Bhambri (A South Asia Pacific award winner Singer / Songwriter / Composer & Performer), Vaibhav Belapurkar(A Financial Services VP Sales & Strategy Head with Edelweiss Finance and also holds the (Country Head - A&M Studio’s position) then followed by a very classy performing duo Shikha Joshi & Hukum Prajapati ... then the evening went forward with Vishal Singh, Sudhanshu Gaur (Original Singer & Songwriter and from the Arrived Fame), Madhav Raut and then finally the finale act by Aanchal Srivastav of Coke Studio Fame singing her freshly belted out originals and her own repertoire and some very popular Folk Songs.  The overall event was the longest ever digital concert ever produced, curated and executed by any Indian Music platform.  Well, the journey till now has been extremely successful from the very energetic and super starters of the RJs of Fever FM & Radio one. And the icing on the cake have been our regular celebrity Anchors Joe Baath & Bhavana Bhatia. These 2 anchors have not just introduced and presented each artists in their very own special way. But, also have created their own fan following amongst both the viewers and the artists.  A&M Studio’s carnival also attracted 1 more Giant media house from New Jersey-USA to partner with us. A&M Studio’s previous concerts – The Fusion Festival, Naman ... A Tribute Concert & Ghar Aaja Pardesi ... A musical homecoming ... got fabulous reviews from the spectators and was widely appreciated. Over 60 unique artists performed in these concerts bringing much needed cheer to people, paying a homage to the essential services workforce and at the same time raising money for children in need via our NGO partner.
