Zee Music Gujarati, the dedicated Gujarati music platform of Zee Music Company, has released ‘Ghor Andhari’, a devotional Garba single featuring singer Ishani Dave, ahead of Navratri.
Composed by Maulik Mehta and written by Pratik Ahir, the track blends traditional Gujarati folk elements with vibrant Garba rhythms, celebrating devotion to Ambe Maa.
‘Ghor Andhari’ explores themes of faith, hope and devotion while bringing together the spiritual essence of Navratri and the celebratory energy of Garba. The release adds to Zee Music Gujarati’s regional music catalogue as audiences prepare for the nine-day festival.
Ishani Dave, daughter of veteran Gujarati singer Praful Dave, has established herself as a prominent voice in contemporary Gujarati music, combining her musical heritage with modern sounds. Through the new single, she brings her devotional style to the platform’s growing collection of Gujarati music.
Speaking about the release, Ishani Dave said, “Navratri is not just a festival for me. It is a part of my roots, my faith and my upbringing. Ghor Andhari is my humble offering to Ambe Maa.”
She added that the song aims to bring traditional Garba influences to younger audiences through a fresh sound while retaining the essence of the folk form.
Composer Maulik Mehta said the track was created to capture the spiritual power of Garba while keeping the sound fresh and uplifting. He added that Dave’s voice brings authenticity and emotional depth to the composition.
Sujal Parekh, Chief Business Officer, Zee Music Company, said the release brings together devotion, tradition and the energy of Garba, with the aim of making the song part of Navratri celebrations across Gujarat and among Gujarati communities worldwide.
With ‘Ghor Andhari’, Zee Music Company continues to expand its presence across regional language markets, using Zee Music Gujarati to showcase local artists, cultural traditions and devotional music to wider audiences.
The release also reflects the role of regional music platforms in bringing traditional sounds to contemporary listeners during key cultural and festive occasions.
