Yamaha Music India Announces Top Five Finalists For Teens Rock – The Battle Of Bands 2026

Yamaha Music India has announced the top five finalists for the 2026 edition of Teens Rock – The Battle of Bands, its national platform for young musicians from schools and music academies across India.

The five finalist bands have advanced to the grand finale after progressing through the competition’s online submission, public voting and zonal finale stages. The finalists will now compete for the Yamaha Teens Rock 2026 title at the grand finale scheduled for October 5, 2026.

Teens Rock is open to musicians aged 18 and below and aims to provide young performers with opportunities to showcase their talent on a professional stage while gaining exposure to industry professionals and talent scouts.

The 2026 edition is being conducted in partnership with Trinity College London, with performances evaluated on technical ability, ensemble coordination, interpretation and creativity, stage presence and overall presentation.

Along with the title, participants are competing for Yamaha gear, performance scholarships and opportunities to record their own tracks.

The initiative continues Yamaha Music India’s focus on nurturing young musical talent and creating pathways for emerging musicians to gain live performance experience and industry recognition.
