Warner Music's WMX Launches Visual Podcast Series On The Notorious B.I.G.'s Final Album

Warner Music's WMX, the label's innovation and experiential division, has launched a new visual podcast series that explores the making of The Notorious B.I.G.'s final album, "Life After Death." The album was released posthumously in 1997, just weeks after the rapper's tragic and untimely death.

Titled "Life After Death: The Podcast," the series features rare archival footage and interviews with key figures involved in the creation of the iconic album. The visual podcast is hosted by music journalist and author, Rob Marriott, who delves into the album's creation, as well as the impact and legacy of The Notorious B.I.G.'s music.

The first episode of the series explores the making of the album's opening track, "Life After Death (Intro)." The episode features interviews with the album's executive producer, Sean "Diddy" Combs, and engineer, Richard Travali, who discuss the creative process behind the track and the emotional impact of working on the album following The Notorious B.I.G.'s death.

The series promises to take viewers on a deep dive into the making of one of hip-hop's most influential albums, offering insights into the creative process, the challenges faced in completing the album posthumously, and the impact of The Notorious B.I.G.'s music on the hip-hop genre as a whole.

"Life After Death: The Podcast" is just the latest project to celebrate the life and legacy of The Notorious B.I.G. Last year, the rapper was posthumously inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, cementing his place as one of the most important and influential figures in the history of music.

For fans of The Notorious B.I.G. and hip-hop in general, "Life After Death: The Podcast" is a must-watch series, offering a unique and intimate look at the creation of one of the genre's most important albums, as well as a tribute to the life and legacy of one of its greatest artists.
