Six Hospitalised After Crowd Surge At Beach Music Festival In Kerala

At least six people experienced breathing discomfort after a sudden surge of crowd at a beach music festival in Bekal on the night of December 29, police confirmed on Tuesday.

Authorities said the situation was quickly brought under control through prompt intervention, and no one sustained any injuries. Those who were taken to hospital as a precaution were discharged shortly after.

Police also refuted reports suggesting that multiple people were injured during the event, calling such claims inaccurate. They urged the public not to spread rumours or panic, reiterating that the situation was fully under control.

The clarification followed media reports that claimed several attendees were injured and hospitalised during a music show by rapper Vedan held at the beach on Monday night.
