RSL Group And Casio Partner To Expand Keyboard Music Education Across India

RSL Group and Casio have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen keyboard music education across India. The collaboration brings together RSL's expertise in contemporary music education with Casio's global experience in musical instrument manufacturing to develop learning resources and professional development programmes for music educators across the country.

The partnership will begin with two major initiatives,a new range of co-branded keyboard and piano learning resources, and a nationwide teacher workshop programme aimed at equipping educators with the skills to teach contemporary keyboard and popular music styles.

Over the next three years, the initiative aims to reach more than 150,000 music enthusiasts and train over 1,000 music teachers, with the objective of fostering a stronger and more unified music learning culture in India.

As part of the collaboration, RSL Group and Casio will jointly develop three physical learning method books, accompanied by interactive digital lesson content featuring Casio instruments. The collection will include a Beginner Piano Method Book, Beginner Keyboard Method Book, and Advanced Keyboard Method Book. Based on RSL's established teaching methodology, the books are designed to help learners build confidence, creativity and practical musicianship skills. Selected Casio keyboard models will be bundled with the learning materials.

The partnership will also integrate Casio's range of instruments across different stages of musical development. Beginners will learn on Casio's Slim & Smart keyboards, progressing to the brand's Standard and Indian series keyboards before advancing to its premium Digital Piano range for professional-level learning and performance.

Alongside the educational resources, RSL Group and Casio will roll out a nationwide teacher development programme beginning in 2026. Led by experienced RSL trainers from India and the UK, the workshops will focus on practical teaching techniques, learner engagement, contemporary repertoire and creative approaches to keyboard instruction.

The workshops will be held across major music hubs including Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Guwahati, Aizawl, Dimapur, Kochi, Madurai and Tiruchirappalli (Trichy).

Commenting on the partnership, Tim Bennett-Hart, CEO of RSL Group, said the collaboration will expand access to quality music education by combining RSL's educational expertise with Casio's leadership in music technology, creating new opportunities for both learners and teachers.

Arup Gohain, Country Director, RSL India, said the initiative addresses the growing demand for practical teaching resources and professional training that reflect how students learn music today, while helping educators build confidence in delivering contemporary keyboard education.

Takuto Kimura, Managing Director, Casio India, said the partnership reinforces Casio's commitment to making music education more accessible and engaging by combining its keyboard and digital piano portfolio with world-class educational content.

The collaboration marks a significant step in expanding structured keyboard education in India, with both organisations aiming to equip learners and educators with modern teaching resources, hands-on training and industry expertise while inspiring the next generation of musicians.
