Raga Drops 21-Track Mixtape ‘NO FORMULA’ Via Def Jam Recordings India

Indian hip-hop artist Raga has released his latest mixtape, ‘NO FORMULA’, a 21-track project that sees the Delhi-based rapper explore creative freedom without being restricted to a defined sound or format.

Released via Def Jam Recordings India, the mixtape features collaborations with several prominent names from India’s hip-hop scene, including Ikka, Seedhe Maut, Panther, Sambata, Yungsta, Fotty Seven, Rawal, Bella, Yung Sammy, Shikriwal and Siyaahi.

The project is accompanied by the official music video for ‘Kuch Mat Kar’, featuring Seedhe Maut and Hashbass.

True to its title, NO FORMULA moves across varied sounds and moods, with Raga shifting between aggression, introspection, vulnerability and bravado while retaining his signature lyricism and delivery.

Speaking about the project, Raga said, “I’m at a point where I’m not trying to follow a formula, and I don’t think I need to. I’ve spent enough time figuring out what works for me, what I want to say and how I want to sound.”

The mixtape features tracks such as ‘Sab Set Hai’ with Panther, ‘Mudde’ with Yungsta, ‘I Get It’ with Ikka and ‘Taqleefein’ with izer. ‘Nakshe Pe’ with RAKHT sees Raga turn his focus towards Delhi and the culture that shaped him.

Other tracks, including ‘Filam’, ‘Sukoon’, ‘Part of the Plan’, ‘Nobody Cares’ and ‘Sorted’, further showcase the project's diverse collaborations and reflective moments.

With NO FORMULA, Raga positions creative independence at the centre of his latest release, embracing experimentation while staying rooted in his identity as an artist.
